A/Prof Max Wolf is a consultant haematologist based primarily in Cabrini Hospital, Malvern. A/Prof Wolf is very experienced in the management of patients with a variety of blood disorders. This includes haematological cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and myeloproliferative disorders. Max also cares for patients with benign blood diseases such as anaemia, blood count abnormalities, iron disorders and also bleeding and clotting problems.

A/Prof Wolf has had a senior appointment as a consultant haematologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre for many years and has been appointed as Associate Professor of the University of Melbourne. In addition to his rooms at Cabrini, Max also consults at Epworth Richmond, Masada Medical Centre in East St Kilda and at Melbourne Private Hospital in Parkville.

For many years, Max has been actively involved in clinical research. He is a past chairman and remains a member of the Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group, a collaborative group of Australian and New Zealand researchers who perform numerous clinical trials in this country. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and also a member of the American and European Societies of Haematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand.
